Course Descriptions

Air Force ROTC is designed as a four year training program that culminates in a student's becoming an Officer in the United States Air Force. This program is designed to run concurrently with the four year college curriculum and is open to all college students at no obligation.* We also offer modified programs which can be completed in three or two years which also earn a commission in the Air Force. Once students have completed Air Force ROTC and college requirements they are off to serve at least the next four years in leadership positions throughout the Air Force.

AS 101 - Foundations of the United States Air Force I

This is a survey course designed to introduce students to the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. Featured topics include: mission and organization of the Air Force, officership and professionalism, military customs and courtesies, Air Force officer opportunities, and an introduction to communication skills. Leadership Laboratory is mandatory for AFROTC cadets and complements this course by providing cadets with followership experiences.
